Turkish Wedding Traditions

Four pupils of the Erasmus+ project team prepared in a PDF document we posted here descriptions of wedding traditions in Turkey. Among them, we mention: the importance of marriage on human life and society, different kinds of marriage, the age of marriage, the agreement to marry, the engagement, the wedding, as well as the ceremony during the night before the wedding called Henna Night, the feching of the bride. For all information, these pupils have used references from the page of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The Two Romanian Menus

Within the set of activities entitled ”Cuisines”, as we established in our second mobility, we have written in order to share to our project partners two menus, each of them consisting in three dishes: a starter, a main dish and a dessert. The starter for the first menu was ” Fried Cheese”. The ”Chicken Noodle Soup” was the main dish and the ”Cheese Doughnuts” represented the dessert. The starter for the second menu was ” Fish Roe Dip”. The ”Beef Steak with Carrot Purée” was the main dish and, as dessert, we have suggested the recipe of the ”Plum Dumplings”, characteristic to Transylvania. For each dish of the two menus, we have given the ingredients and the preparation directions. At the end of the second menu, we wished to everybody ”Good appetite!” in English, the language of this project, and in all the six languages of the Erasmus+ partners. The Project Page on the Turkish Partner School Website

Vali M. Lutfullah Bilgin Middle School Erasmus+ the scope of his application, Poland, Turkey, Lithuania, Romania, Spain and the partner schools in Cyprus ”Folklorica” project has been awarded funding by the National Agency. The Project Page on the Romanian Partner School Website

The Romanian team has already created the project page on the school website. This page includes: the type, purpose, objectives and description of the project, the deployment period, the target group, the partners, the European funding, the communication groups and the means of promoting the project. The school website and the project page are the responsibility of the Computer Science teacher, Mr. Mircea Dorca, a member of the project team. The page of the project "Folklorica" ​​is under the heading "Erasmus", together with the former (“Ecological literacy”, “Be Better by Learning!”) and current (“Strength of Cultural Minorities”, “Teacher Training in European Heritage and Religion”) Erasmus projects and courses of the "Constantin Noica" Sibiu High School.
