Turkish Wedding Traditions

Four pupils of the Erasmus+ project team prepared in a PDF document we posted here descriptions of wedding traditions in Turkey. Among them, we mention: the importance of marriage on human life and society, different kinds of marriage, the age of marriage, the agreement to marry, the engagement, the wedding, as well as the ceremony during the night before the wedding called Henna Night, the feching of the bride. For all information, these pupils have used references from the page of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Project Description - Researches and Achievements in the Project

The pupils involved in the “Folklorica” project prepare a leaflet with information about the project related activities carried out so far. The leaflets will be distributed among local authorities, local media, newspapers, other local schools and other organizations involved in the project. The pupils will also prepare typical and expressive decorations of different regions of partner countries and a multimedia presentation. The results of pupils’ efforts will be distributed among local authorities and other involved organizations in order to promote the implementation of the project. Through research by contacting experts in this field, the pupils get to know and afterwards exchange information about various styles of building houses or other functional buildings in their countries. During some workshops, the pupils will learn how to crochet, to embroider and get to know other ways of preparing various decorations for home using traditional tools and techniques. Down the River

The lyrics of the song ”Down the River” express the proud to be an inhabitant of Kaunas, a city considered to be the heart of Lithuania. It is the feeling belonging not only to the singer of the song, who was floating slowly down the river but also to all those who grew up near the river Nemunas. The Lithuanian team sent this song to the Erasmus+ partners to learn it by heart. In order to help them, the phonetic transcription of the song was sent to them. The Impressions of the Romanian Pupils about the Mobility in Poland

As we established in the Application Form of the Erasmus+ project ”Folklorica” 2019-2021, after each mobility, the participant pupils write their impressions. At the end of the project they will be inserted in ”The Diary of Impressions”, one of our final products, by the Turkish school, which is responsible for that. The Romanian pupils participating in the mobility in Poland were: Alexandru Mihai Loloiu, hosted by Michał Bogusławski, Paula Ștefania Tudora, hosted by Kamila Rutkowska and Rebecca Maria Frântu, hosted by Karolina Serowik. These impressions were sent to Mr. Umut Uysaler in time, according the deadline established by all partner school coordinators together Mrs. Mariola Podolska-Maculewicz, the coordinator of the whole projects.
